词性是高考的必考内容，但不是给出一个单词让你说出是名词还是动词，而是通过考察对文章的理解，体现出对词性的理解和应用。
例1：The exhibition had record attendance, showing that there is huge interest in Chinese influences.（2019年全国3卷阅读理解）
record attendance是“创纪录的出席”，名词record修饰名词attendance；attendance record是“出勤记录”，名词attendance修饰名词record，都是“名词修饰名词”的现象，只有理解了这一点，才能准确理解句意，进而才能做对第24题，问题如下：

答案为B项：It attracted a large number of visitors. （它吸引了大量的来访者）
