一、如果被修饰的名词和动词有主动或被动关系,则用分词。
例:
1. The boy sleeping there is my brother. 正在那里睡觉的那个男孩是我的弟弟。
sleeping in class修饰the boy,逻辑关系是“男孩在睡觉”,是主动关系,所以用现在分词sleeping。
2. The boy praised by his teacher is my brother. 被老师表扬的那个男孩是我的弟弟。
praised by his teacher修饰the boyt,逻辑关系是“男孩被表扬”,是被动关系,所以用过去分词。
